Definitely could be the wilderness.  For 7 AM, I would 
expect to see longer and stronger shadows.  Also there 
is no tree line.  The trees should stop at a certain 
altitude, followed by an area with little or no vegetation 
and then snow to the top of the mountains.

good!). The only thing wrong I can find if the green color, but that's a

problem on all computer images: green doesn't looks natural, they usually look
too "standard". Anyhow, superb pic with a "precious" atmosphere.

One of the better images this round. Your picture almost conveys to me a
beatuiful spring morning. To really hit it on the head give it an auburn sky
with the sun peaking over the mountains. (Ahh relaxing just to think about it.)
Your technique for making the trees is very creative (Unfortunately I am a
Povray User.) The mist near the top really touches the image off.

take away from the picture.  Less detail and more mist as far as the mountains
would help a lot. Good picture!

If 3D Studio Max has a slope-dependant procedural 
texture, I recommend you figure out how to use it.  The 
positioning of the snow in this image is very unrealistic.  
Additionally, I had a hard time viewing the entire image.  
My monitor will only go up to 1024x768, and my video 
card will only go up to 1280x1024.

An epic viewpoint.  Nice forest and water.  But the mountains are unnatural: 
if these are tall mountains, they should have a more distinct line where the 
green vegetation ends and the bare rock begins.

Artistic - Picture postcard perfect (well almost)
Technical - The distant mountains would have looked more realistic if you had
chosen
          a more bluish/purple for the foliage on them.  Distant mountains
rarely
          appear green.  The very tops of the peaks would have been better in a
stone
          texture. Mountains that rugged looking don't usually have much
vegetation
          up that high
