===== From Stickgod01@aol.com: notable for description. (: ===== From tony@j4tb.com: I like your description it really helps to understand the goings on in the scene. Though the image doesn't look very realistic with the trees and people they still look good (better than I could do.) I gave you good marks on Artistic Merit and Interpretation. ===== From javaearl@hotmail.com: Interesting people. Good fire-lighting effects. ===== From warp@iki.fi: Although the characters are very simplistic, this image is still kinda cute. You should have used an area light in the fire instead of two (?) pointlights. ===== From luisvaloyes@malditasea.zzn.com: nice image, pretty original... ===== From chris_hormann@gmx.de: I much like this one, nice interpretation, convincing involvement of human creatures. The characters look very "living", lighting is good. ===== From jouni@mikrobitti.fi: A well planned background story, but I'm not still totally sure about the in-topicness. The trees outside look like a garden :-) Nice shadows, but slightly too sharp maybe? ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: The cave itself has a good shape, and the texture (while not very realistic) is nice, and seems to suit the rest of the scene. The lighting works well, although I do wonder if the double shadow cast by the standing figure could have been de-emphasized a little. Keep working on the figures... frankly, they seem pretty rough right now, but could look a lot better with some tweaking. I give you points for creating your own figures, though (something I haven't had the courage to try in competition). In regard to your x and z coordinate confusion, I wonder if it would have been easier for you if you had simple rotated and repostioned the cave itself, rather than repositioning the camera? (Just a suggestion you might want to try and see if it does work for you.)
