To improve this render, I think you should have had a bit of light in the front
to illuminate the textures and details of the objects in the foreground.

This has a nice moody look that I like, and the single 
shaft of light is a nice touch.  The flowers look very 
good.  I think the texture on the tree trunk could use a 
little work to make it look better.

Artistic - The picture seems to look a little washed out with the exception of
the 
            flowers
Technical - I like the way that your bark turned out on the tree. Your technique
is
            very effective.  The fog effect does not appear to have worked as
well
            as it should. The image looks faded or washed out somehow. 
Concept - A small section of a larger wilderness.
