===== From Stickgod01@aol.com: good use of fog, good concept, and good clouds. ===== From tony@j4tb.com: Very nice mountain peaks for a HF generated w/ povray I am impressed. I particularly like the sunlight filtering through the clouds. A beautiful scene. ===== From jd@surveyor.in-berlin.de: The image looks very good - nearly like an original Piqueres. Nevertheless, a point of interest is missing. ===== From bonsalva@bellsouth.net: Looks really great! It could use something close up as a key reference. Fantastic background. ===== From eallen@highway1.com: Very nice. The only thing that detracts from it's realism is the uniformity of the color of the ground. The shadows help, but it still looks like the ground is the exact same color at all heights. Wouldn't eroded mountains show some kind of variety in the soil? (Not a big deal though, I still scored you very high). ===== From karl@pemail.net: Nice colour contrast ===== From javaearl@hotmail.com: Good peaks (very realistic; great texture.) Great fog at the bases. ===== From warp@iki.fi: The image looks good (specially the clouds), but it could perhaps have more things in it. Vegetation, trees, animals, I don't know. ===== From dearmad@sapere.com: good lighting ===== From chris_hormann@gmx.de: Beautiful mountains! I wish you had given more information how you created them, clouds are good too. ===== From jouni@mikrobitti.fi: JVP's cloud macro has deserved its fame. Well made landscape too, but a bit too bare. How about some plants to give the heightfield a couple of features? ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: All of the elements in this scene look good, and they work well together. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: The high-resolution heightfields help create nice realism on the mountainous terrain. You need to work on textures next -- these mountains look like they are weathered out of a single piece of orange sandstone. ===== From albiaprime@aol.com: Artistic - Very nicely arranged image. Technical - The fog lying in the valleys is perfect. Concept - Good interpretation of the theme.
