===== From Stickgod01@aol.com: although the scorpion looks nice, I think you went a little heavy on the fog. This is image is a good start, and good luck with your future efforts. ===== From tony@j4tb.com: It looks like a lot of work was put into the scorpion which looks good. I think the fog is unneccesary as it is doubtful you will find fog in the desert. (Then again I have never seen a desert either.) I would have killed the fog and put a nice rocky mountain range in the background. Your desert texture looks awsome nice hand made pattern. ===== From spencer@early.com: Looks pretty good. My only major complaint would be the fog. The thing about fog is that it gives the illusion of water particles in the air making a desert fog seem somewhat unusual in what you would think to be an environment seemingly devoid of water. ===== From warp@iki.fi: The direction of the light seems to be different from the location of the sun. If the sun is shining through a heavy fog, the shadows should be very soft, not sharp. ===== From chris_hormann@gmx.de: Not bad at all, really good modelling work on the scorpio, the cracks in the ground could look deeper IMO ===== From jouni@mikrobitti.fi: Well modelled scorpion there, you'll have good use for it later :-) The ground is a bit too creamy to be real sand - at this close range a decent sand texture is pretty hard to find. The good composition gives some promise - looking forward to your next entry! ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: I like the texture on the ground, and the shaping on the scorpion is nice (although the way the leg segments join together seem a little off.) ===== From albiaprime@aol.com: Technical - Well done for someone who is just learning. I especially like the way that your sand turned out.
