===== From tony@j4tb.com: Image looks good. Love the grass. Reminds me of the American Mid West. ===== From harlidobib@redshift.com: Simple yet beautiful. ===== From warp@iki.fi: Using tools in the right way for creating a good image has some technical merit indeed, but since almost everything is just automatically generated with just a couple of parameters set by you, I can't give a high technical score. If you had modelled some complex object (a bird or whatever) with povray or other programs (like spatch), it would have been different. Some animals wouldn't have hurt the image after all... ===== From dmacisaacj@hotmail.com: I like it. Very realistic. Could be a bad storm in them thar clouds. Good work... ===== From dearmad@sapere.com: a lion hidden in there would have livened it up ===== From mark.wagner17@gte.net: You might want to do something like randomly rotating the patches of grass to get rid of the regularity in the grass positioning. ===== From chris_hormann@gmx.de: Nice sample for Gilles Tran's macros, the tree could have a bit more irregularity, you could have used some random factor for grass placement, IMO it looks somewhat like a man-seeded grass - not "wild" enough :-) ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: The grass looks very nice, and the sky, while simple, is very effective and suits the scene well. The tree looks nice, but could use some more leaves on the side facing the camera, perhaps? Overall, though, the scene seems a little too flat and lifeless to me, but that's probably just a matter of taste. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Good texture on the grass. ===== From albiaprime@aol.com: Artistic - Nice composition, but the right side of the picture looks a little empty. Perhaps a few birds flying in the sky would help Technical - I see nothing wrong with the way your tree turned out! The grass field turned out well Concept - A different interpretation of the topic.
