===== From bfranke2@home.com: I very nice image, but it does not look rendered. I need to see a description of how it was created to be convinced. ===== From Stickgod01@aol.com: I don't even know how to judge this. It looks great, but not like something that was raytraced, and with no explination of anything, I'm not sure if it was raytraced or just made with a paint program. ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Excelent pic, but the lack of thech info generates heavy dubts... ===== From tony@j4tb.com: So far the best I have seen. It looks like something out of a norman rockwell painting! I would like to see a better description of your tools & techniques ===== From beliaev@utu.fi: I don't know how to judge this: there's no description given. Sorry, I have to put "1" on technical merrit. Please next time provide a description on how the image was made. ===== From klynn@uswest.net: This is a nice image, but it's difficult to score because you do not tell us how it was generated. Was the (very nice) "oil paint" effect produced by a 3D renderer, or is it the result of post-processing of the image? The latter possibility is illegal under the rules of the competition. ===== From eallen@highway1.com: Large portions of this image appear to be image maps. (waterfall, brown land) The suns rays appear to be post-processed. If I am mistaken, I appologize, but without comments I must assume I'm right and score accordingly. ===== From spencer@early.com: A nice image but unfortunately I'm forced to score low. Next time make sure you have the proper info in your txt file. Since you didn't mention which program you used to render the image, or if you rendered it at all, it could just as well be photograph. ===== From javaearl@hotmail.com: Great lighting. Image seems almost photographic! Also, good foliage. However, a description would be good next time. ===== From warp@iki.fi: Sorry, I can't score this image because there's not description about the renderer used and how the image was done. It may perfectly be done with a painting program. So 1-1-1, sorry. ===== From whitey@telefragged.com: the left part confuses me... ===== From dmacisaacj@hotmail.com: Honestly? you are 14th of the 80 to vote on, and so far yours is the best strong textures and a lushness, had to look a few times to make sure it wasn't a photo. ===== From mark.wagner17@gte.net: Without any information on how this image was created, I CANNOT determine a techincal merit score. ===== From nitschk@ranke.be.schule.de: It would be interesting to know which tools and renderer the author used for the creation of this image. ===== From jouni@mikrobitti.fi: Very nice, but doesn't look too rendered. Without a description of generation tools or the methods used, I'm just going to rip your score. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: The foliage in this scene has a nice lush look to it, and the waterfall looks good. The mist effects work well. ===== From albiaprime@aol.com: Artistic - very pretty Technical - no technical details at all, no tools or render info, no details on how you built what, so can only give half marks for what appears to be a lot of hard work. Concept - definitly a wilderness river ===== From file: simply incredible
