IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 

Orca sneaking from behind a rock and about to pounce on some unsuspecting
salmon.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

Innumerable days and nights fiddling with lighting, caustics, volumetrics,
textures, shapes.  The fish were skinned and the orca is about to reverse that
process.  The the shore lines and the wake behind the orca's fin (I was told
the wake would show up behind the fin) were created with transparency maps.
