The U.S.A. government then armed them with cannons to deal with the slave trade. Later on they moved many thousands of people to California, especially during the gold rush. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: All modeling was done with Moray 3.2. The tool was especially useful for handling complex, hierarchical structured objects. Highly recommended! Sky : the sky is based on a leopard texture with some turbulence. Ship : the body consists of bezier patches. Sails are modeled with bezier patches. Everything else is made of basic primitives. Sea : a hightfield is used for the waves. Spray is made from spheres with emmitting interior media. Light : three area lights are used; two of them to brighten the shadows.
