Nice. How did you get the 'glowing' halos on the objects?
In fact very nice... picked as a winner (so far) - I've given this a really high
score.

Funny.

From pbourke@swin.edu.au:
The geometric detail is great, good use of texture and a nice
idea to boot.

From luisvaloyes@malditasea.zzn.com:
simply amazing! Congratulations!

From panthus@xtra.co.nz:
Brilliantly exuberant image. I love the astonished looking fish on the far left
and the contradiction of the fishing pole. Packed with life and atmosphere.

From Martin.Magnusson.7121@student.uu.se:
+ Very nice indeed. I like the glow and shimmer,
and the sparkling water. Great models, great
  lighting, great textures.
- It's a little bit unclear where the fish are.
Are they on a ship, or some sort of bridge?

Magnifique...
Whoaaa... just *great*

I just wonder... what are they fishing?? :-)

From marlo.steed@uleth.ca:

Well done ... creative take on the theme... fish have nice texures although the
wood looks a bit plastic.

From tony@j4tb.com:
This image made me laugh. I like the "glow" around the fish it gives it sort of
a dreamy look.

From gregj56590@aol.com:
I'm rating this image extremely high because it is so realistic, original, and
entertaining, even though I find that glowing effect very annoying...

From nitschk@ranke.be.schule.de:
This is one of the best and alos one of the funniest images I have seen. It has
a very relaxed atmosphere and shows how our Blue Planet could looks like, if
not men was the most developed species on it. A really good work.

From angelaperry@webcombo.net:
Terrific, wonderful, definitely my favorite! The picture is detailed,
creative, and artistic, yet technically complex and well-rendered. The
idea is the most original (in my opinion) in the competition. My only
complaint is the objects as the far left of the screen glow a bit too
brightly and are hard to make out, but overall, I loved it. Great job!

Nice and strange, I am otherwise unable to comment much more than that.

From mischa@binary-designs.org:
Wow! Not bad! ;-)

=====
From StephenF@whoever.com:
Very nice... the fish look good, and the use of highlights
is very effective. The dock looks interesting, but the
amount of warping seems excessive and the texture is
more stone than wood. The shaping on the lamps and
other objects is good.

From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk:
You are crazy, crazy, crazy. Love the image, but it seems a bit flat/2D,
maybe caused by too much ambient light. Err why have they got a fishing
rod?

=====
From delfeld@mailcity.com:
Fish with hats? Fish with a boat? Oh, well. . . a professor I had once sold
that sort of thing to Paramount Pictures, so there is probably a market.
