===== From digitalburn@totalise.co.uk: Good sea + atmosphere. The boat could do with a little more ork I think - it looks a tad blocky. ===== From darwallace@earthlink.net: Needs a sail (or the remnants of one) somewhere. ===== From pbourke@swin.edu.au: Rain is hard, you do it well. The boat is rough and broken, excellent. You could lose the oar in the water, it isn't sitting properly. ===== From dvnss@mega.ist.utl.pt: Spooky. who killed who? when? how? I want to read that book too ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Nice image... it looks like it is raining something bad here ===== From tony@j4tb.com: Your textures worked very well for the image. I think it really conveys your thought. One of the better ones this round I would have to say. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: A nice turbulent scene. The whitecaps look good, and the rain works well. There is one long ridge in the water (just to the right of the boat) which seems unnatural, but other than that the water looks nice. The bloody knife is an interesting touch. ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: I think I can guess what's been going on here. A very sinister scene. Well executed. ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: Art is not necessarily best when it tells a story. I thought modern art would have solved that illusion, but it seems post-modernism insists on obscuring - and even rejecting - the past. Try finding a story in any of George Braques' pr Cezanne's work. . . yet they are still wonderful images that keep your attention. Regardless, you have a good composition. Do you know why it works visually in 2 dimensions? If not, study up on rennaisance art.
