A lazy summer afternoon on the river... keep your eye on that fly for the first
sign of a strike.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

This image was an afterthought after I created a number of "digital flies" for
an animated screen saver which I generated as a gift for friends last
Christmas. The whole idea came while watching my dad tie some flies - I thought
it would be fun to try tying my own flies "digitally". Shag Fur (Digimation)
was used extensively to create "feathers", a standard Tree Factory (also from
Digimation) tree for added effect - everything else was easily modeled and
textured with standard 3DStudio Max maps. Check Arnoldanimations.com for my
