===== From tony@j4tb.com: Your gas tube is the best one so far this round. Though your textures look quite nice you need to focus a little more on the finishes. The bunson burner looks too flat and the image has too much abience to it I think it would help to lower your ambience and add more external light. ===== From elvish_archer@mailcity.com: great job , I like the flame and the purple smoke ===== From stephenhasmail@yahoo.com: I like most of your modelling, but think you should have made your objects reflective. Surely you can spare more than 10 minutes to render your entire image. I like the puddle on the table (good macro, I think). Your smoke (vapor?) effects are good, but they need to go further into the air. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: This shows potential for a first entry. Some of the colors used give the scene a rather surreal look, although I'd still consider taking the blue flame and green liquid down a notch or two. The black stains on the floor look good, and I like the shape of the pink liquid. The smoke rising from the crucible looks pretty good. ===== From jaime@ctav.es: The composition is good, but the camera could be a bit more distant, to give some space over the crucible, wich is perhaps too close to the upper image limit. Also, the floor would have been more interesting with real tiles instead a quilted normal. ===== From whitey@telefragged.com: more like borophyll ===== From tom@tomandlu.co.uk: I quite like the liquid on the right, but doesn't really work for me. ===== From albiaprime@aol.com: Artistic: A balance picture, textures need some work but that will come with experience, nice first entry Technical: What you have built shows that you have a lot potential Theme: It's a lab and nice first attempt. Looking forward to your next
