===== From tony@j4tb.com: You've got great details interms of objects laying around but the objects themselves need a little more detail. Add a little reflectivity and texture to some of the objects to give it the look of plastic. ===== From elvish_archer@mailcity.com: I think the main problems is no life in the lab ===== From Stickgod01@aol.com: The closer up objects, on the shelf to the right especially, look very simple, while the further away ones look more complex and realistic. Also, the mountains look more like a poster on the wall than like they're outside the window. The photorealism of the mountains and the ray-traced look of the interior have too much contrast. I wish you had left an image description. I'm not really sure what this is. ===== From stephenhasmail@yahoo.com: I like the fact that you made a "computer" laboratory. Not many people would think of the topic this way. Good thinkin'. I think you should have made things a little more bump mapped and/or reflective. The whole scene looks kind of like it is made out of the same dull material. ===== From shout@ozten.com: Very cool scene. I like the color, lighting, and mood. The image map out the window is fun. ===== From marlo.steed@home.com: A lot of detail... but something about the image looked artificial...perhaps it is the textures and or the lighting. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: The amount of detail is good, and nice use of fairly basic shapes. The landscape seen through the window looks good. Some of the textures seem too simplistic to me, mainly on the computer components. I'm not sure the notebook paper was a good idea... it doesn't look that realistic, especially the black circles used to represent the holes. Good effort overall, though. ===== From tom@tomandlu.co.uk: Seems a bit off-topic, doesn't really work for me. ===== From albiaprime@aol.com: Artistic: Very nice tech lab image, the non-skid rubber strip was a nice touch for authenticity. Technical: Obviously a lot of work, however marks deducted here for failing to credit source of the image map used for back ground photo out the window and for no technical description what so ever of how this was made. Theme: It's a lab!
