DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 


The picture began from experiments with Tor Olav Kristensen's isosurface worlds.
The church roof is two isosurface cylinders differenced from an isosuface
block. The ribs are a series of cylinders.
The texture of the roof is an isosurface pattern added to the cylinders before
they are differenced from the block. The columns are isosurfaces. The window is
a HF from a scanned drawing of mine. The rays of light are from an external
light source and I used a scattering media in the building to make them show
up. The mist is an emitting media. The figures and birds are all Poser models,
converted and UV mapped with the help of OBjuvPOV.
