Nice Job!

Why is the woman naked and not the man?

From emediez@emediez.com:
As usual, a visual feast. Thank you for working so differently and deliver such
excellent images!

From charliemc@prodigy.net:
I like it.

From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au:
Brilliant! What else can one say? About the only thing I can think of that
would
make this better is if one of the photos on the bathroom wall was of the guy
next
door.

From hgregory3@aol.com:
As usual, you have done a superb job. Even after reading all your 'this isn't
quite right' notes, I still think this is a super image. I groan at the
thought of having to wait a week for the render to occur. I hope you were
able to do much quicker 'edit' renders.

I want to BE in the TV room, and I want to LOOK into the other.
I marvel at the ease with which you make a topic into an opportunity,
rather than a challenge.

A 20 T 20 C 20
so many perfect details...I have nothing to add.
The only two things that bother me are the size ofthe
woman's bottom and the (to me) strange looking toilet
bowl - but these end up being a less than half of a point
off the technical score

From StephenF@whoever.com:
I think it's mainly the lighting that makes this scene work
for me... the soft warmth of the right side vs. the cool
harshness on the left. The number of small, detailed
objects help bring the scene to life, although the shape
of the toilet bowl and its base seems a little odd.

Absolutely superb!

Wow. Contrast at every corner. The lighting is
something I would cry about if I got it right. Brilliant
around every corner.

Gilles, what can I say? Another *true* work of art, you should be proud. The
textures are great, the modelling is wonderful, the composition is perfect, and
the lighting creates the exact atmosphere and emotion for the image. I
especially like the fact that he's watching her through his TV set: it adds an
interesting element to the characters' relationship. Overall, it left me
speechless for about five minutes while I sat there trying to figure out how
you do it :) Congratulations Gilles!

Boy, I'm happy I didn't enter this time. Wow. Your skills are nothing short of
astonishing sometimes. How you manage to make Poser models look so real is
beyond me.

This is one of the best I've seen. You did a great job of making things look
aged. My only complaint is that the people look a little fake. It is
otherwise a very realistic scene.
