Sea and mountain, summer and winter: contrast?
I had a book about Norway, there were pictures of the Lofoten islands. 
I thought this could be a good project. I have never been there, 
but I think it must be a land of contrast. 


DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 


  I used Terragen to render the background. The boat and the deck were made with
Blender. 
There is nothing special about the modeling. Texturing may appear quite plain
but I like it this way.
I used uvmapping for most of the textures (I enjoy using Satori Photo XL to
prepare my textures). 
I used the Ter2blend script in order to locate the camera and the lights
according to the terragen background. 
The source of the scene was too big to be uploaded.
