IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 


Tired of the cold, the snowman makes his way toward the warm hot tub. The girl,
who created him in the backyard, is paralyzed with shock by the animated
snowman.


DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 


The snowman, hot tub, window, snow, and wall were modelled from scratch in Rhino
and textured with Bryce procedurals. The girl was exported from Poser. The
trees are Bryce stock objects, and the mountains are heightfields (as is the
hot tub water). 

Originally, the image was just the going to be the backyard scene with the
snowman. That would have been okay but I decided to try to add the window and
the girl for a more dramatic effect. Getting the reflection to be as accurate
as I could proved to be the most challenging part.
