Several images in this round use the imprisonment/freedom contrast; I found
yours, in its simplicity, to be the most evocative and elegant. The textures
look ok, though the light level is too low to tell much about them. More
could have been done with the light source inside the cell, to soften the
shadows.

Boy, that atmospheric media sure increases the render time, doesn't it? This
is a good idea, artistically striking and well-composed. I would have liked
to see some more detailed modelling though. The bricks look like they are
embedded in the stones, with no mortar between them. The stones don't seem to
be separate from the mortar between them. The colours are too even, and it's
all very clean. Some overlaid dirty textures would help this.

Artistically the setting is very good and the proportions
are good. The light is too thick, though.
Practice will improve the techincal aspects, mainly
texturing and scene lighting.
Good concept.

Nice media and lighting effects, and the sky looks nice.
I like the texturing on the bricks, too.

I wish the camera was pulled back just a little, so we could see more of the
prison/prisoner. As it is, this could be a prison, castle, basement,
chateau, or a municipal building. Good touch on the birds and sky.

Great concept.
The bricks around the window dont have morthar, and
that makes it seem a bit artificial.
