IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 

This image brings up the contrast between water and earth. In this image the
mountains are separated from the water to show the contrast between the two
elements: earth and water. The strange looking sky emphasizes the contrast.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

First I used Terragen to make the landscape, and then I exported the scene to
POV-Ray with CamPath. I added some new textures to the water and to the
heightfield, in POV-Ray. I added some area_lights to the scene, and a sky
sphere with some clouds. The sky sphere is perpendicular on the water plane
thus giving a strange look to the landscape. After I rendered the image, I used
Satori Photo XL to add copyright information to the image.
