JPGFILE: sf_worsh.jpg RENDERER USED: Maxon C4D XL V6 TOOLS USED: Cinehair Plugin for C4DXL, C4DXL V5, Corel for Scaling the image, Organica RENDER TIME: ca. 1.30 at 1152x864 HARDWARE USED: Dual P3-500, 512MB Ram IMAGE DESCRIPTION: Every year, when both Aloca and Coc are visible in the sky, the members of the Moaui religion pilgrim to the three holy statues on the Island of Tehaichgil to worship their god Matrapsa. (Yeah ... I know ... far fetched interpretation, but the worshiping didn't come out as good as I wanted ... by the way Coca Cola Light and Aspartam are registered product names by some or other corporations ;) DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: The Moaui Heads are Spline Nurbs, The butterflys are planes with Alpha Channeled Textures and a cylinder as body), the people were created long ago (I have submitted 3 pictures to the IRTC in the last years featuring them) and were created using Organica, then boned in C4D, a smaller version of the scene (without the people and the grass) can be found in each snowball on the try in the shop, the trees are made of spline nurbs. The sky is a ground object textured with an alpha chaneled texture and a frontal texture featuring the planet and the moon (rendered separately). So, what looks like the clouds is actually the fog, and what looks like the sky is the ground object ... best way I found to make a good looking sky. The tunics are spline nurbs, which are transformed through the bones in the people. I'm not really happy with the final picture, but I can't exactly say why, apart from the fact that, as I stated before, the worshipping aspect doesn't really come out. Bye, Sammy
