===== From kingofmycastle@gmx.net: Let's play. ===== From tek@evilsuperbrain.com: Nice image, I like the subtle details like the pencils and marbles. It looks like it's lit a bit too brightly though. ===== From htkra1d@hotmail.com: Overall nice, but a bit too colorful for me (I'm not a child ;-)) ... and the wooden textures doesn't look very real in some places. Another soldier in the gatehouse would've added to the effect (one on each side). Nice pencils! ===== From tony@awmcs.net: Great overall composition. I like how the blocks are sometimes sideways or upside down adding authenticity to the child work. BTW I live about 2.5 hours from Fort Ticonderoga. ===== From extrememarinerfan@home.com: Graphics are fairly rough and basic, also the letters on the blocks are standard, a more creative font could have been more effective. ===== From djohnston@iname.com: The scene is too bright in my opinion, but I like your idea very much. I like that you made sure to not align the blocks perfectly, but at the same time, you maybe should have considered doing the same with the marbles, leaving them spread out on the floor instead of stacked. And I actually like the soldiers. :) ===== From ZenPsycho@yahoo.com: Pretty standard fare. ===== From youknow@ucan.foad.org: Very cool job on the pencils, although I might have made them differing lengths. The floor is a bit too shiny. I do like the soldiers, and the marbles near the cannon (are they meant to be cannon balls? I took it that way). ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: How does this relate to the concept of fortress? A fortress is not objects that resemble or imitate castles. . . those may very well be two different ideas.
