===== From pixel_guy@hotmail.com: nice image! good procedural textures, tho a bit overdone on the bananas ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: The spiders look very nice here, and I like the floor. The bananas look a bit odd to me, both in shape and texture. ===== From marlo.steed@home.com: Nice image. The spiders looked quite good but some of the other textures needed work (e.g. bananas and tin textures) ===== From marcelocarvajal@ieee.org: The spiders seem nice, but they could have been bigger so we could have a better look at them. The bananas need a lot of work to be more realistic. ===== From jhiggins@mooseworld.net: Cool spider models. ===== From javaearl@hotmail.com: The spiders are fine, but the bananas are a little abstract. Still, pretty good. ===== From lrwii@janics.com: The overall effect is nice. ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: I do not even know where to buy illegal bananas. Where did the friend of a friend say he got them? Pay attention to the enlongation of textures, i.e., the cans and boxes. Try using values to draw attention to the important parts of the image; a spotlight or light fading over distance. This is a generic note about realism: Realism is nice, but why is realism significant artistically? Is there any other way(s) to represent more accurately, or more beautifully, which are not realistic methods? ===== From file: Very nice how you made those spiders out of only spheres, it shows you don't need advanced modelling to get nice results. The textures could use some work though, especially for the bananas. Notable for modelling ===== From file: Notable for composition
