===== From pixel_guy@hotmail.com: nice image.. AA seems a bit off ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: I really like the wings on the dragonfly, and the water drop effect of the spiderwebs in the few spots where it can be seen well. The body of the dragonfly could benefit from some addition work, I think. ===== From marlo.steed@home.com: A good image, the water was realistic. Having a dragon fly stuck in the web would have made the image more compelling. ===== From jhiggins@mooseworld.net: Nice wing vein textures. ===== From lrwii@janics.com: I like the dragonflies. The grass.. not so much. ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: A dragonfly lives near this area of the water (close to shore). Why is escape on its mind? I like second justification :) I like that you point out, "This is not a dragonfly but the dragonfly-image in my mind." That seems true for art (even if you did not mean it seriously). The grass is a little confusing. Also, the placement of the spiderwebs is awkward (reference Cezanne for some ideas of composition with planes). ===== From peter@table76.demon.co.uk: I just spent hours trying to model a dragonfly that looked like the ones in the books I've got, having put it off for years... I sympathise!
