I like the hair and the textures, although it might be just a *little* too
shiny. I like all the modelling. However, the perspective seems wrong. Unless
this is a really HUGE scorpion, then he probably needs to be scaled down, or
more ground added between the scorpion and mountains.

tone down the specular lights a bit.. seems to shiney imo
very nice shadow (I'm assuming shadow map instead of soft raytrace), but turn
down the map bias.. the shadow doesn't match up to the scorpions foot
also, don't make the shadow map 100% dense.

The scorpion looks good, although it has a bit of a 
plastic feel to it.  I can't put my finger on why, but this 
just doesn't really work as a scene for me.  The sky 
looks nice, though.
