===== From nitro_glis@yahoo.com: great idea. ===== From higginsdj@bigpond.com: Looks very cluttered - no real centre of interest ===== From mookymaha@hotmail.com: Very nice models, though in some it's rather obvious it's a mesh, which slightly takes away from the realism. ===== From philip.chan@home.com: Wow.. looks like real Lego. The rest of the scene also looks pretty realistic. The walls look a little too "smooth" and artificial. ===== From djohnston@iname.com: The main improvement I believe you could made to this image would be to scuff things up. The wall and the wodden tiles in particular could use some scratches and/or dirt and grime. ===== From thomas_alun@lineone.net: There's something strangely appealing about ray-traced lego models isn't there ? ===== From lrwii@joplin.com: Good idea. But everything is place to mathmatically. I don't see a child placing these things. The shadows are confusing. You should have used a shadowless area lights. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Nice scene, and a good light-hearted approach to the topic. The lamp base looks good. I think a slight texturing on the wall panelling would help them look less plain. The floor and walls look too clean (although dirtying things up realistically is probably one of the hardest things to accomplish.) ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Good work, but something seems to be wrong with the lighting here. Aah, I figured it out -- the sharp shadows indicate the main light source must be just above of view of the camera, instead of being on a tall pedestal. Use of a area lights and radiosity would help reduce this distraction. ===== From jrcsurvey@aol.com: This is a very interesting image to explore with the eye. It takes the theme as a point of departure but doesn't really make a statement. ===== From tm-ray@consistent.org: The picture came out well, but too little of it is original. It seems you've used a lot of premade models and utilities, without really adding as much as you could have that you did yourself. As the legos are basically all of the scene, I'd be much happier if you'd done them yourself instead of downloading models. :-/ ===== From r@obelisk.res.cmu.edu: Wow! I miss my Leggos at home... These look just like the real thing. I really love this! Notable for originality, lighting, composition, modelling, textures
