===== From nitro_glis@yahoo.com: out of curiosity, if you went to all that trouble to model the nuke (thanx for the detailed description) why choose such an anapealing camra angle? I scored you high in T mid on C and very very low for art ===== From philip.chan@home.com: The smoke cloud look very good. It does look a little strange in the lower left corner, where I can see irregularities that look like ripples from droplets falling into a pool. While I like the idea of an overhead camera angle, I would have liked one that was slightly off to the side so that more of the missile could be seen. ===== From lrwii@joplin.com: Grate concept! You could have use LATHE to make the head look more airworthy. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Looks pretty cool... the smoke effect works well, as does the black and white color scheme. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Nice try, but the power of the image doesn't come through for me. We are looking at such a straight-on angle to the missle, that it becomes unrecognizable and the scene becomes abstract. One of the few times that I would prefer a more square aspect ratio. I would like to see some very tiny details on the nose cone: scrapes, rivets, weld joints, etc. Fine (lack of) colors. With a bit more work, this could be a great image. ===== From tm-ray@consistent.org: Your link to the picture doesn't work - did the site go down? The focal point of the image is the nosecone of the missile, but the nosecone is a bit plain and a bit unrealistically angular. It might have been better if you'd pulled the camera back slightly to show more of the side of the missile, which looks more detailed. The smoke turned out well.
