===== From tom@tomandlu.co.uk: Lovely - I feel the fish could do with a less regular shape. It's a shame that the interaction between the picture and the fish isn't greater. His texture came out very well. ===== From tlyons@gnn.com: thank you for NOT makeing it a singing bass! ===== From topher@csh.rit.edu: Very real looking! Nice job! The one thing I would add is some kind of "disturbence" in the painting to show that the fish actually jumped through it. Kind of like the thing in Mario 64 where he jumps through the painting. But, wow, this looks very real. ===== From jjaguar@worldnet.att.net: This is one of my favourites. The only thing I would change is to put more of a splash (or at least a lot more ripples) in the water where the fish is jumping out. ===== From thomas_alun@lineone.net: Very nicely modeled and lit gallary with good use of focal blur to make the viewer concentrate on the fish. ===== From emediez@emediez.com: Excellent job ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: I like the idea of having the fish transcending the barrier of the canvas to the real world. The water droplets coming from the fish look excellent. One thing that looks awkward in the image is that the painting doesn't fit the fact that a fish just jumped out of it - the water is too calm. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Nice use of light and shadow here, and the blurring effect works well. Good interpretation of topic. ===== From jrcsurvey@aol.com: I think this picture makes particularily good use of the raytracing medium.
