how you made the image, I have to assume you 
downloaded all of the models from 3dcafe.com (which 
you mentioned under "Tools Used"), which really hurts 
your tech score.

Interesting concept for the image.  I like how yo've used 
a background that looks something like what you could 
see in a microscope, but in my opinion, the table is an 
unnecessary barrier between the background and the 
chessboard which is the focus of the scene.  One thing I 
would like to see is if you created different viruses and 
some more body parts so you could create a more 
realistic chess match.

Lighting works well here.  Ummm... about the texture on 
the back wall... well, it's... interesting... to say the least.
