DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: First, I imagine the frame: cold, snow, white ... that was the picture !!! I already knew hardest difficult was transmit my feeling. The elements that make up the scene are very simple: - a tree, created with Spline Tree Include File by Andrew Clinton (thanks) - a building with snow on roof, created with Rhinoceros 2.0 (demo) - snowflakes, just a little algorithm to spread at random spheres in a volume - two patchs for ground. That' all. To obtain cold light I used an area light and little blue dominant in ambient_light parameter of global_settings.
