===== From trothgard@citywidesoftware.com: That is the way I was when I walked into the world of 3D, some people just make it look easy :) ===== From cly@u.arizona.edu: To begin with, every image is different in it's way. Not every image is like tWB. You have to find what you are good with and use that at your abilities. For example, when I see Gilles Tran's tWB, I first notice the creativity and the use of detail in the image. I've only been rendering for 2 yrs, but I am starting to get the hang of it. First think of a project that you want to do, and go from there (and not be rush). ===== From pokorny@attglobal.net: We all dream of being at Gilles Tran's level. I given up all ambition of ever being able to get near it.... ===== From lrwii@joplin.com: Not bad for the time you spent. I like the idea of POV in 20 minutes. I guess if you run one of the scene files that come with POV you'd have it. But I've run partial scenes that have taken that long or longer. ===== From peter@table76.demon.co.uk: "I want to type everything myself" - seems like a good way to learn. It may not be a shortcut to winning, but when you want to make something that can't be found on the web, you'll know how to start.
