It's a book, it has eyes, why's it lonely?

=====
From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com:
Cute, but how is this lonely?
=====
From :

I did not quite figure this one out. Maybe it's just me but I had trouble trying to understand the loneliness in this one. We all start somewhere, though I usualy expect a bit of more 'unf' from an image in which 3ds and photoshop was used.

what's this ? :)

the eyes looking scary at me. what about the topic ?
=====
From ruy@hipernet.com.br:
This doesn't seem to be a fair depiction of the topic "Loneliness" at all.

I still say there's a difference between being inventive and being lazy... and this examplifies that.

You rendered one object in a scene against a backdrop. Let's move on.

Nice work creating the pages of the book. They look
very realistic. The "floor" could use some work. I get
the feeling it's meant to be wood, but it doesn't look too
much like wood.

Cute, but doesn't really look lonely at all to me. Texture
on the book cover looks good.
