I like the fact that the tombstones are weathered, and that there is a clear
element of loneliness (the figure), because graveyards in themselves aren't
really lonely. The grass is well placed and I like the daring colouring.

I like the story that goes along with this picture. :)

a well done imgae but: the grass is cutting the fence. there are some possibilities to work this out.

Another good gravestone pic.

This is a wonderful image. It really touches on how poignant
loneliness can get.

From wozzeck@club-internet.fr:
The top half of the picture seems sacrified in favour of the bottom, which looks painted: a very good looking achievement. I'm pretty sure the overall picture would look better with some work on the grass. As for the atmosphere, it is simple and moving. Great picture.

There is something particularily forelorne about weathered, rustic grave mar=

I like the good variety of textures and shapes on the tombstones. I'm =
uncertain about your choice of camera alignment: deliberately =
emphasizing the sky for some reason, or just keeping the default camera =
pointed at the horizon? Nice warm sunlight. Small flaw: some of the =
blades of grass are poking right through the fence beams!

I like the 'feel' of the image (all of the bumps give it a 'canvas'
type look).

From p_chan@shaw.ca:
The grave markers are done well. The use of height
fields helped to add a degree of realism since the text is
not obviously a font. The fancy isosurfaces in the fence
can't really be noticed at this distance from the camera,
but I think I can spot a few cracks that would be hard to
do otherwise. The shovel looks a little too round to me.

I like the sky here, and the background grass looks
nice, if a bit tall. It's hard to effectively portray
loneliness with such a bright scene.

Great image. Good story. Good idea. The woman is a bit
hard to identify.I like the markers. The way the sky seems
to focus is nice. Finally the dog. The last straw?
