HARDWARE USED: Pentium 4 1.8Ghz with 1 giglebite of RAM. IMAGE DESCRIPTION: Yeah, Im glad I don't feel like that anymore! Seriously though, after I finished this I realized it was nearly identical to a drawing I did for an art class years ago. The inspiration came from an anonymous quote I saw on a bulletin board which read, "It is hard to fight an enemy that has outposts in your mind." DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: The room was first modeled in MicroStation J and then saved as an AutoCad .dwg file for importing into 3d Studio Max for texturing and rendering. The texture files started life as free downloads of rusty metal textures from www.3dcafe.com which I altered to look like peeling paint. I think the peeling floor boards came from there as well with very minor alterations by myself.
