IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 
    I decided to make a picture of Mount Washington in New
Hamshire, since I worked on top for 2 summers over 40 years ago. The scene is
based roughly on a photo of the mountain I took in October about 20 years ago.
Since the Mountain is closer in this picture than in my photo the buildings on
top  would be visible, but I went back in time to when there were no buildings
on top. That was even before my time. 


DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 
    The image created entirely with the
use of POV. The Paint programs were used to create image maps from pictures of
trees created in POV. These images were used for the background trees. The
Mountain and hills were created with isosurfaces.
I didn't keep track of the time it took to create the image, but it was a long
time.
