IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 

   An earth-like moon of a ringed gas giant planet.  Global warming has caused
the ice caps to melt, completely flooding the small amount of land originally
present.  Other moons of the giant planet are visible also.


DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 


   The two moons and planet are spheres, the rings are a series of very flat
cones.  The creatures are beziers and discs.  The column is a cylindrical
height function.  There is a partially transparent sky-sphere for the clouds. 
The sky in the background is a cylinder with a color-changing texture.
   There are two textured lights:  One provides illumination for the planets,
and one lights the foreground objects.  The second light is shielded from the
planets by a cylinder.
   All objects and textures were created specifically for this image by me.
