From rgow@lanset.com:
Good concept. Looks a little flat though, maybe a different angle of light to give it some depth.

The drawings look genuine to me.

From chris@ugan.com:
great concept

From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com:
It is difficult to rate this image. Heightfield landscapes clearly do not dominate this round, because everyone tried to think of something else. This is unfortunate.

From rich@brickbots.com:
Great Concept, and nice textures. My only suggestion
would be to wrinkle, or bend the papers a bit to give
them some depth.

From angelsdie2@aol.com:
Good work on lighting and textures -- even though the textures are simple,
the lighting and camera angle make the scene.... it's got a good overall
feel to it -- not messy, but filled out -- good work!

You did a great job of finding your inner child. :)

u cheat... but then u cheat so well

From martin@simaltech.com:
Very original idea! More 3D objects would have merited a higher technical score.
=====
From chris_hormann@gmx.de:
Nice interpretation of the topic, the scene lighting looks good. But the
paper sheets stick to the door too much, no paper a child has painted on
looks that flat.

=====
From clem@dhol.org:
Very clever. You should teach the child to ray trace.
Crayons are so old school.... The magnets are a good
detail.

From jimbobjim@blueyonder.co.uk:
This is one of the most original entries this round. My
only suggestions for improvement would be to make the
fridge more detailed and use a wider camera angle to
show more of the kitchen.

=====
From p_chan@shaw.ca:
Interesting twist on the theme. The fridge and
countertop look fairly realistic, but the wood texture
could use more work to give it a more realistic feel.
Nice job with the childlike imitations.

From glenn@mccarters.net:
I predict a large variance in "concept" scores for this image. On one =
hand, it's a clever interpretation of the theme. On the other, there is =
no "landscape" here at all! At least not a raytraced one. Er, I mean a =
modeled one. Oh, you know what I mean...
Good work!
