Spectacular landscapes....
Beautiful mountains, impressive canyons, nice valleys....

At first I thought of a picture where one can see these things consisting of
"dead" materials, such as rocks, water and so on.
But then I noticed the back of my wife and I saw two mountains, an impressive
canyon and a very nice valley.
I can`t imagine any landscape that would be lovelier than this spectacular view!



DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

The back of the woman was completely modeled in Metasequoia using subdivison
surfaces. I used some photos and of course my real wife as a reference.
Then the SubD`s were converted to a high resolution poly model which was
imported in Moray and rendered with a combination of global illumination and an
area light.
The sheet is a highfield with a painted texture in The Gimp.

Regrettably I hadn`t had enough time to use better settings for the area light
and the radiosity effects, so the shadow is a little bit grainy.
But I hope some of you would like my picture.

Due to the hughe size of the high res poly model there are no source files as an
attachment.
