IMAGE DESCRIPTION: Ever seen acrobatics with a glider ? Never ? You definitly missed something. It is very impressing, looking at a glider doing its loops and turns and so on. Without a noise ! Only the best of them dare the figure shown in my picture: cutting a rope with the gliders tail. It takes places short above surface, and you must have enough speed to roll back to normal flight again. That cutting of rope I froze in my picture, broke up into four parts. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: - The glider was made with metasequoia. - With 3DWin I created a glider for Moray (udo/inc) and a glider for UVmapper. - In UVmapper I mainly painted the canopy. - I quickly did the ropes with Hamapatch and exported them to Moray wiht expurt plug-in of spatch. - The scene was assembled in Moray, the textures were added then (also in Moray), added the sky (a big sphere) and the ground fog. That was all. (Between beginning and ending of the work, I had to re-install every programm on my PC, changed the OS - all for a different reason - and still finished the picture - )
