===== From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com: The basket is quite intricate, and a close-up would probably have shown its quality. The balloon looks a bit odd, it makes me think there might be a structure to keep it in this shape (usually they are round)... I'm also missing the part that actually heats the air in the balloon. ===== From tyler@cg1.org: I'm torn on this one. The basket looks quite nice. The balloon looks like something out of a circa 1995 shareware game. ===== From cmiles79@iinet.net.au: You balloon is a bit jaggedy. Seeing that you used Bryce you should thrown in a landscape in the background. ===== From sammyf@wanadoo.fr: using a texture with an alpha channel might have been better for the basket (brings the render time and the memory usage down). Also, the balloon itself looks very rough, like it's created with not enough polygons and the lines either float around the baloon or go through it (on the right side). Adding someone (some poser person for example) standing in the basket would have increased the appeal of the image. Sorry if I sound too critical, I just wanted to point out where the image could be improved. ===== From rgow@lanset.com: Good job on the basket. The balloon has noticable corners. ===== From jjaguar@worldnet.att.net: For such a detailed basket, the balloon is not smooth enough. ===== From slone@hiwaay.net: Nice basket, but the balloon is too polygonal. A don't think of a balloon as strictly old technology since they're still very popular; perhaps an antique balloon would be more on topic. The shadow on the cloud below seems too sharp. Nice colors.
