IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 

as soon as I read the announcement of the new topic, I dreamed this picture :
a reconstitution of the  factory  in the  Chaplin's movie  " MODERN TIMES".
This association - modern times,  old technology - can appear like a paradox. It
is for me an exemplary demonstration of this simple idea : all technology, even
the more futurist, becomes more or less quickly, an old technology . To
complete the design I added the vision of old movie
technology. (it was truly an hard work to found the visual documentation for the
modelling of the  movie camera... a  Bell & Howell 35mm, that  was really used
by chaplin in the years 30)
Describe an image is never "une partie de plaisir" (a picnic in english ?) . Try
to describe in english, for me, it's a torture...please, dont judge my words !



DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

Nothing especial.
Everything was hand coded directly in megaPOV (helped with the multy-copy
function ...)
I choosed to use only black and white textures for the background...
For lightning, I used  spot-lights, and white planes (ambient 0,8), like for a
movie...
