===== From rgow@lanset.com: Good concept. I like the contrast of the design on the drafting table with the church. Image could be brighter IMO as the city & skyline are barely visible. ===== From leoszilard@yahoo.com: All the building windows are empty, the light on the table is a little awkward, and the tools on the cart beside the chair could use some work. This scene has very few flaws to point out, so I thought I'd nitpick for you, as it's the only grounds for improvement here. Very good. ===== From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com: Great idea, a bit of a pity about the haziness that hides the church. ===== From raytracing@grayproductions.net: I like this idea and the way this image came out. I believe my only request would be a touch more detail on the buildings in the back to bring out the contrast a little more. ===== From tek@evilsuperbrain.com: Clever idea, I really like it. Very good modelling and textures, and the night time feeling of the scene is nice. Just a few criticisms: I'm not sure if you have a fog outside, or if the window is tinted grey, but for some reason everything outside appears dark grey where it should be black. If it's meant to look like fog then it should vary in brightness according to where the street lights are, at present it just looks strange. Also the glass in the window should have a reflection on it. ===== From xilo_m@hotpop.com: Nice, but the perspective is strange... You might have better put the church farther than this building and put those buildings away even more farther... The colors of the rooms in the building in front seems suspicious also, like the whole room (even the roof) are painted in the same color, or if the room is white and the glass in tainted or the light is colored... this gives a very artificial look. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: I liked the concept. The dramatic lighting working nicely to give night time impression. The bell tower has realistic feel - well done. I think there are a couple of things that could have improved the image. One, the windows I think needed just a bit of internal reflection to make them look more like glass. The other thing was that there was a lot of empty space on the floor. More stuff scattered around to give it that lived in feel, more stuff like the good model of the plant would have finished off the model nicely. ===== From hildurka@simnet.is: Good modelling, lots of good details, great lighting. The drawing office with the desk and the department houses in the background all look great. The only thing that distracts me is the old church in between, it looks a little too square somehow. Maybe it is the angel you see it from, I don_t know. It doesn_t fit in correctly. Othervise the idea is great. ===== From fergie_2002_@msn.com: cool ===== From chris_hormann@gmx.de: Interesting interpretation of the topic, one of the few scenes in this round actually displaying the work of an architect. ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: Nice work. The hardwood floor texture looks very good, but some of the other textures do have a raytraced feel. ===== From slone@hiwaay.net: Wonderful lighting and atmosphere, illustrating a great concept. ===== From r@ip68-11-81-210.no.no.cox.net: I like the contrast of plans/construction. The use of lights to highlight the important parts of the scene is very well done. Notable for lighting, originality ===== From file: What a nice contrast between old and modern, I'ld like to work there. Notable for composition, originality
