===== From rgow@lanset.com: Nice sky and I like the play of colors. A little bit of detail in the city and the landscape would go a long way. ===== From leoszilard@yahoo.com: This scene works. If course a brick texture would fit the "yellow brick road" concept. otherwise, a little more on the buildings would have been nice, and this scene might even benefit from a crazy lighting affect. ===== From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com: This entry seems to contradict rule 5d, though I'm not sure how it applies in animation to still copies. Other than that, I always thought the road had bricks. The flower patches are neat, though. ===== From raytracing@grayproductions.net: I suggest reinvesting the time spent to add warning to your text files. You get out of a trace what you put into it, I think. ===== From tek@evilsuperbrain.com: Gee this looks awfully familiar... :) This was my favourite thing in the animation, because it has exactly the right mood for what it represents, even though it's build very simply. I could criticise it, but it's obvious things like everything's built too simply, the edge of the road is too perfect, the grass is flat, etc. I don't really need to point these out because that's obviously a decision you took in building the scene, and the overall concept comes through in spite of it's simplicity. ===== From xilo_m@hotpop.com: Try working on the concept of you future IRTC submissions! Nothing ever happens in your picture? ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Neat concept but the scene needed a lot more detail to make it stand out. ===== From hildurka@simnet.is: Well, everybody must be good at something. This one is a little off topic, or so it seemes, until you think about the golden road into the promised land of the great Emerald City. This scene looks like a part of a surreal dream. I bet your are good at dreaming. The next step is to realize your dreams, that_s where raytracing comes in!
