===== From rgow@lanset.com: Hee hee, I actually thought of doing this too! I love Dr. Seuss architecture! My only complaint is... not enough stairs! I like his curving stairways and ladders. (A la "the 5000 fingers of Dr. T") ===== From leoszilard@yahoo.com: Has a "Nightmare Before Christmas" feel. If the houses in the back were a little less patternized, I'd give it even higher marks. ===== From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com: A good representation of the graphics that I know so well from my youth. Daring to consider it architecture, but not impossible, and therefore a good choice. ===== From raytracing@grayproductions.net: This image has a style all it's own and I sure like it. ===== From ncrinkrat@earthlink.net: This has a very nice "cartoonish" feel to it. ===== From tek@evilsuperbrain.com: lol! Superb! Very cute buildings. I like it. The modelling clay feel of the whole scene is great, particularly because everything is done that way, even the sky! The lighting is wonderful and suits the scene perfectly. I'm trying to find something to criticise... Ah the bit of the background where there's no hills and no clouds is a featureless unpleasant shade of grey/orange, and would look better if there were either more hills or the clouds curved down behind the hills. And that's all I can find to improve in this picture, it's really very good. ===== From halebl@yahoo.com: great work! ===== From hildurka@simnet.is: I Love this scene. All these soft elements, soft forms, soft shadow, soft colors. Very good and very unusual. There is much diversity in this scene without upsetting the dominant feel. Even though some things seem to hoover in thin air, it still looks natural. Very good work! ===== From fergie_2002_@msn.com: this is one of the most fun images i have seen ever. it takes the rigidity out of architecture and i love that.....its a winner ===== From jjaguar@worldnet.att.net: One of my favourites this round. One thing I would have done differently is gone with more brilliant, cartoon-like colours, but that's just my personal taste. ===== From chris_hormann@gmx.de: Nice design but all surfaces look a bit too smooth IMO. ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: Nice job creating the feel of the scene - the textures and modelling work well together. The only place where I find this feel is broken somewhat is in the "forests", which seem too flat and straight at the edges were it meets the grass. ===== From intertek@one.net: Very unique! I wish more people felt free not be after photo-realism. = Makes me think of the wonderful worlds of Dr. Seuss.
