===== From jon@vulpecula.us: Very creepy. Maybe more "horror" than "mystery" though. I like the lighting. The cave itself lacks something though...it's easy to tell that it's just intersecting planes. An isosurface or heightfield would have been nice instead. ===== From rgow@lanset.com: Very nice water. Rocks look blocky, they have corners. ===== From thegreatbambeeno@yahoo.com: cool, but you should have a light so we can see the woman. (he he he) ===== From hildurka@simnet.is: Nice image. The texture on the cave walls might need some adjustment though. Lighting is excellent. ===== From somers@w-link.net: Minor issues with lighting. shadows dont apear to be consistant. Water looks WONDERFULL. How did you get those ripples? ===== From pbrasolin@yahoo.it: The water is quite nice and also the lightning is good, but the polygons of the cave are too evident. The direction the woman is heading isn't clear, but maybe it's a part of the mystery. The monster's hand looks made of plastic. PB ===== From info@michaelscholz.de: Strange texture on the ceiling, looks almost like water. ===== From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com: I like this one. Nice job on the water, though the cave looks a bit too low-poly. Also some of the rocks look almost pitch black. ===== From zio_tom78@hotmail.com: The atmosphere is very effective. Unfortunately that polygonal effect on the cave is quite disturbing. ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: Lighting and mist are done well. The octagonal shape of the cave walls is a bit too obvious. ===== From emediez@emediez.com: Cave wall don't help the lights too much. More elaborated textures will improve the overall impression. ===== From glenn@mccarters.net: Pretty good atmosphere. I like the silhouette effect and the = outstanding curious-yet-apprehensive pose on the figure. Great = lighting, reflections, fog. Cavern walls are a little too linear. I strongly recommend rendering the image *without* that arm in the = foreground (and zoom in the camera slightly too). This would tighten up = the composition and would even enhance the sense of mystery. Another = idea would be to have the arm clinging to the back of a rock such that = the viewer (but not the explorer!) can see the creature. That would be = powerful drama. Really good work here. ===== From file: awesome. really beautiful. Notable for lighting, textures ===== From file: awesome, i like the girl and the monster. You should have put a littl emore detail in the cave wall though. Nice Job. ===== From file: Nice water, lighting. Cave looks like polygons with maps & normals, but you see the straight edges. Notable for lighting
