===== From jon@vulpecula.us: Interesting and mysterious. The textures could really use some work though, esp. on the pencils and the tabletop. ===== From helene.dumur@free.fr: I think that some anti aliasing is needed on the pencil ? No ? ===== From rgow@lanset.com: A nice idea. Modeling is good. Textures, particulaly the wood, don't look natural. Try lowering the ambience on all the textures, Bryce defaults have far too much ambience. ===== From thegreatbambeeno@yahoo.com: table ===== From hildurka@simnet.is: Nice background, but the foreground needs some work. I love the castle within the sphere, it looks like it_s growing out from a rock. ===== From somers@w-link.net: Needs stronger AA, THe castle looks real nice. ===== From pbrasolin@yahoo.it: I used Bryce a lot and I know it's great for making landscapes, but it's difficult making other objects with it. However, it's a nice picture. PB ===== From ralf@treuherz.de: Adding a bird next to the castle is a good idea, otherwise it would have looked too much like a model. The background should have been more detailed. I don't understand why the other objects are "mysterious". ===== From info@michaelscholz.de: Nice castle. The crystal ball's base could look better with more detailed modeling, thus giving it a really enchanted, magic item look. ===== From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com: Good Image. I especially like the castle. However the image seems to really need some anti-aliasing. ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: The background terrain and fog looks very good. The objects on the lower right (pencil like things) look too jagged. ===== From glenn@mccarters.net: Sorry, the castle looks too solid. :-)=20 Here's why: a solid crystal ball would refract the light inside, = causing a magnified view of objects in the interior. Since this isn't = happening, the crystal ball must be hollow. But who ever heard of a = hollow crystal ball? So the viewer is left to think that maybe this is = a small castle model with some kind of spherical force field surrounding = it. This is reinforced by the diffuse reflection of the sun in the = sphere -- and the result is completely different from your intention. I do like the image overall. It's tastefully done and does have a = delicate sense of mystery.
