===== From jon@vulpecula.us: Interesting picture. Well executed...kind of creepy. Maybe more "horror" than "mystery" though...? ===== From douge@nls.net: Probably the best image as far as being on-topic, although this was a tricky topic. One of the best entries, well done. ===== From rgow@lanset.com: Good one! Very good mood! Good modeling & texturing. A bit dark, but fits the mood. ===== From thegreatbambeeno@yahoo.com: perfect. this image whether win or not is the best one here. great work. ===== From hildurka@simnet.is: Good lighting, texturing might need some more variation, especially the floor. Very good concept, good work. ===== From somers@w-link.net: THis is beautifull. i like the parquet floor and the lights. looks very real. ===== From pbrasolin@yahoo.it: Hey! A fellow-countryman! I'm italian too. Apart this, I'm really impressed by your picture. I can't make any critic simply because I can't find a flaw. Also "Non Nobis sed Tibi Domine" impessed me very much. So... complimenti! PB ===== From ralf@treuherz.de: Very nice story and very good and detailed modeling. But still, it is very hard to figure out the "mystery" just from watching the picture. ===== From info@michaelscholz.de: Nicely done. ===== From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com: A nicely detailed scene, with a nice soft feel. Will be looking forward to reading the actual story. ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: Excellent work! The modelling in this scene is done very well. The only thing I find awkward about the image is the glows around the flames, which seem too "dull." ===== From emediez@emediez.com: Well done. At first sight, the figure at the window seems to be the same upstairs, I think it is just a kind of mental/visual habit. In this case, however, the description enhances the image greatly: Changes the viewer's point of view, justifies the atmosphere, and leaves a big avenue for thinking about the story behind the scene. The composition is good enough to stand by itself. Description in this type of digital images is a two sided sword: it gives the viewer the weight of comparing - and therefore evaluating ===== From glenn@mccarters.net: Remarkable parallels between your image and the one by Hildur Kolbrun. Composition could be a bit better - all of the interesting things are in = the top half of the image. Great details all over, except for the much-too-plain frame on the = painting on the wall. ===== From file: Don't go down that stair case, send the kid down instead.
