The colour scheme works well in this image.  Perhaps a 
full moon in the night sky would help enhance the mood 
of this image.  Also, one thing that is missing is some 
kind of disturbance in the water where the monsters are 
(splash or a wake).

Ok, not a bad image.  Can you find a more interesting viewpoint instead =
of having the tower dead-center and the camera point exactly towards the =
horizon?  Maybe have the tower off to the right, and the monsters =
approaching from the left.  Good texture work and intriguing lighting.

The idea is good, but the actual execution lets the image down. I would
definitely change the background mountains, and give them a landscape texture.
By spending a little more time on the background, it helps to promote the
foreground and the picture as a whole.
