Good job technically...the fireplace etc. looks good. Overall, the image is just too dark...it's hard to see what's going on. It feels mysterious...but i'm not sure about "mystery." Also, it's impossible to understand the story by looking at the picture alone. Still...good job overall.

Nice image, but almost impossible to see.  I had to turn the brightness on my monitor all the way up to get the full effectk, and even then I couldn't see some of it.  Add a couple of lights, or up the -ambient- light setting a little, and it'll be great.

Great image! The use of the blue-yellow gradient is a very smart idea, the image is split into a warm half and a disquieting one. The fireplace looks very good.

Very good scene overall.  The detail on the fireplace is 
excellent.  The roses in the centre seem too stiff.  Also, 
the door seems a little awkward as it looks to be shorted 
than the opening (although that's probably the frame 
that blends in with the blackness though the door).

Superb attention to detail with authentic textures and models!  The wood =
floor is particularly well done.
Image exhibits some graininess, especially around the doorway and the =
fireplace.  Something looks "off" with the scaling of the objects, but I =
cannot pinpoint the problem.  The fireplace (and everything around it) =
is excellent.  Very interesting technique with the color filter in front =
of the camera.  High marks for technique.
