I came upon this idea while having a look at my own scale the other day: it was either miscalibrated, or maybe there was in fact an in- visible person standing on top of it. Hey, if this isn't mysterios ;-) DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: Geometry The scale is made of profiles lofted along splines, the floortiles are beveled boxes, text elements are extruded splines. No thrills. Texturing Most enjoying part of texturing was making the footprints: my girl- friend was so kind to let me colour her feet with watercolours and then stood on a sheet of paper to make a print, which I could scan to make a b/w displacement map. She pointed out a 123 kg man would maybe not have such footprints, but I liked them the way they were. Lighting Two yellowish omnis from the back and a slight blue spotlight from the front as main light sources, two orange fill lights from below.
